Dr. Geo Delaney is a board-certified physician specializing in Lifestyle Medicine in the North Seattle area.  Through lifestyle modification, which focuses on changes to behavior, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress reduction and relationships, Dr. Delaney believes that a majority of medical disease processes can be significantly improved thus obviating the need for medication.

Dr. Delaney spent approximately fifteen years as a family medicine physician at a community health center in the Utah Valley area, just south of Salt Lake City.  Here he mainly worked with under-insured and uninsured individuals, in a multi-ethnic medical model, to deliver much needed primary care services to these populations.

While this level of care was gratifying from a personal perspective, the vast burden of chronic Western disease processes that could be improved utilizing focused lifestyle intervention - and less medication - became quite evident.  Starting a new chapter, Dr. Delaney decided to return to the Pacific Northwest after receiving additional education and training in nutrition, metabolism, aesthetics and bariatric (obesity) medicine to establish himself as a specialist in the field Lifestyle Medicine in the north Seattle area.

 

Dr. Delaney can be contacted regarding Lifestyle Medicine consults at his office, DelaneyMD Aesthetics & Anti-Aging, in Edmonds, WA.  Initial consults are one hour and are complementary.  The primary objectives of the initial consult are two-fold: 1) to determine the individual’s primary wellness goals and, 2) to determine whether a constructive client-provider relationship potentially exists to move forward and achieve the patient's goals.
